And I scrapped together 2 artsy pillows...and this is why I never toss a piece unless it in less than 1/4 inch!!! The brown polka dot bed skirt is on the guest bed...which could easily be converted into a matching crib dust ruffle...and the curtain is this material as well...Hmmm...GOOOOOOOO Ovaries! We need a little girl now...well as soon as I stuff these pillows...

My husband likes these new evening projects...because I sit on the couch with him and sort through bags of scraps and place them on a vintage napkins...he likes me sitting on the couch with him rather that me in the kitchen sewing. And while I was making purses and quilts with this material months ago...I would not let myself throw away any scraps big enough to hold a stitch...I wasn't sure what I'd do with them...but I had this idea in mind...and it worked! Most if not all of this fabric is by Anna Maria Horner.

This one...might actually give a punch of color to our olive green couch once it is made into a pillow...though we do not need more pillows on the couch?

My Muffin Man

We have been out of sorts. My typically wild and crazy Muffin Man (he calls himself "I the Muffin Man") has been running a fever around 102 degrees...

Near the end of his 3 hour??? nap yesterday I found him...like this...I guess he was ready to get up...but was too tired. Poor baby. I scooped him up into my arms and let him wake up on his time.

So I moved the sewing machine into the living room and quitely pieced a scrap collage pillow.


And started a few fabric belts. (inspired by Bari J. http://www.flickr.com/photos/barij/2477402818/)

Photography Pillow Cases

My friend Dawn called and ask if I could make her some pillow cases with fabric she'd bought. I said SURE! She is going to put tiny little babies in this basket and take their picture. Awww! I hope I have another little baby soon for her to photo in this basket.

Twin Pillows

So pillow idea is coming to fruition. I wanted to make the twins pillows for their 2nd birthdays. And while I never have the details on how exactly I will accomplish this...I have a great start. I want to free motion them...that is the dilemma...or just trying to decide if I place a layer behind and then free motion...which I believe is the answer...and then make the pillow.
