Jake took this video of C.J. for Uncle Ross...he took it on his cell phone so the quality is not great.

Wonkie Scarf
Today I made a scarf...it turned out a bit wonkie...I'll still wear it...it'll be my wonkie scarf. Oh and the Brunswick Stew was Fab....so here is the SO EASY recipe...you just dump it all in a pot and let it get hot...
Shanda Hill’s Easy Brunswick Stew
1 small can white chunk chicken
1 can creamed corn
1 can nibblet corn
1 can Castleberry's BBQ beef
1 can Castleberry's pork
1 lg can of petite diced tomatoes
1 can tomato sauce
I added…
½ bottle of our favorite BBQ Sauce Sticky Fingers Carolina Sweet
And hot sauce and sugar to taste (and I did not add a can of pork)

The North GA Fall Fair 2008
Much fun was had by all today at the fair with the Reardens...nobody cried and nobody pucked! And just because we are competitive bunch...for the records...notice Brittany won on the slide race...and in the bullpen Joe threw a 74...Jake threw 69. Jake won C.J. a stuffed dolphin and a live goldfish.
So what did I make today...nothing with thread...but I am making Bruswick stew...if it is good...I'll post the recipe...Corrie

Bowling Pin or Monkey?
Last night I worked on this for my little monkey. I told him it is going to be his monkey so he hugged it and loved it...and it looks like a bowling pin....for now. In between his trips over to say "heart" nose...he and Avery snuggled on the couch.

Short Sleeves for December you ask...yes with a long sleeve shirt layered underneath...layering is cool for kids too. C.J. played on the stairs today...oh and he can say Mama is Corrie...Dada is Jake...

Blue Raspberry Fizz Toddler Quilt
Yesterday I made this Blue Raspberry Fizz Toddler Quilt, while C.J. scooted around on the Busy Bee making car noises through the vacuum cleaner attachment. Well the quilt is almost finished...this morning I'll sew on the last 2 end pieces and upload it onto Etsy. You can sew while you are sick...it requires no talking.
P.S. Thank you Lawrence and Mom...Jake fixed the garbage disposal...1st you hit the reset button on the bottom...then you turn the blade counterclockwise with a broom handle!

Sick on Sunday/Fall Garland
We stayed up most of the night again...taking tylenol and sipping on Juicy Juice...so we did not go to church this morning.
I made this on Monday...my fall/Halloween garland...(I'm not so into Halloween...just pumpkins) I found the idea on http://www.purlbee.com/mollys-party-garland/2008/7/28/mollys-sketchbook-party-garland.html It is super easy to make with just a few scraps of fabric. Oh C.J. calls it "kite". Perhaps I'll decorate for fall later this week.

Day One with a Sore Throat
Hi...I'm going to try this blog thing... I'll post about what I make everyday and what my son gets into while I am making it.
C.J. and I have a cold...so we didn't go to the GA Tech Football Game today. We needed to save our energy for Gran Nana's 80th Birthday party tonight at the Cheesecake Factory. I did make her this Red Plate Special vintage tea towel.
