No More! ! !

Today we took down the Valentine's Day Decor.

I put C.J. down for a nap.

I began looking for last years TAX folder...so I can make that appointment. The office is pretty clean now...the fabric has been sorted and refiled...the bills too...And I still can't find the tax folder? It makes me want to vomit.

No more Valentine's Day :(

No more TAXES! ! !

Ruffle Apron Purse

Ok...so I made this cute yellow and white vintage Wamsutta apron...from some material that belonged to my late great grandmother. I loved the fabric. Let's see I made it...at the end of the summer 2008. The apron hangs in my hall way on the way to the laundry room...so I see it almost every day...I never wear it...but still love it. 2 days ago: HELLO Apron...I am going to turn you into a purse...so that i can carry you around!

When I put C.J. down for his nap today...and whipped it together. LOVE IT! So much it is going to Mexico with me!

Guest of Honor Purse

I've loved this fabric since I brought it home. I've wanted to make it into a purse. I needed to make a few before I tried it on this fabric so I wouldn't ruin it. It turned out well and BOY OH BOY is it NOT FOR SALE. This beauty is going with me to Mexico next week.

Thank you Anna Maria Horner for this Garden Party Guest of Honor delight (thats fabric lingo for all of you who didn't know).

Valentine Day Tree Complete

(Ok...so apparently the HP and the Nikon kissed and made up...after all tomorrow is V tines Day)

Drum Roll Please! ! ! FINALLY...yesterday I nailed it down...the tree topper. Just a simple cardboard cut out of a heart...with red polka dot fabric sewn onto it (look closely the edges are pinking sheared...so cute). It looks like a BIG OLE Valentine sitting up there. Highlights of the tree...are the pinky bunny...and the heart with wings...and red glittery lotus springing up from behind the BIG OLE VALENTINE...and oh did you see the beaded little red birds! I made those too!!! JUST kidding...you must be smoking crack to have the patience to make those.

So the tree is complete...and if I do say so myself...it is a rocking pretty tree...and is much prettier than my Christmas tree ever looks?

Anyway...Happy Valentine's Day Eve. Maybe I'll actually plug the tree in tonight! Oh yeah I have NOT plugged it in yet?

Camera Problems

My Nikon and My HP apparently had a fight...because they are not talking to each other. So I can't post pictures that I took last night...of a new purse I made (with the fabric pictured above)...pictures above are off of Flicker.

C.J. and I cleaned the garage today. And he played in a fire ant bed...until I found him...He had on his zip up onesie jamas...so I was able to strip him down before he was bitten by a couple hundred fire ants! ! ! Thank you Jesus for watching over my baby. No really it would have been VERY BAD...he was covered up to his knees...he was just watching them...squated over the bed...because he was not bitten ONCE! Hey emergencys only take 2 seconds...he was out of my site all of what 30 seconds?

Another Purse Bag

I thought all last night...how to make this bag...and it look good. So I thought and thought and tried it out this a.m. I worked! And I took enough pictures that I am going to post a tutorial on it! It is not amazingly hard.

While sewing...C.J. stopped by the kitchen for the hundredth time...only this time to ask me to help him do something very important. "mama...jamas OFF!" "help pease...jamas off".

Here and There

Today we went to the McDonald's drive thru...2 Bacon Egg and Cheese biscuits and 1 order of hashroons pees. Then scooted over to the library...oops what time do we usually go to story time? Uh not at whatever time we got there...because it was 6 months to 18 months and it was the end of their time at that...so we sat in the back and pretended we fit in...(I'm sure Mrs. Apri knew we'd messed up...because C.J. wanted a sticker afterwards like usual...and 6 month olds don't get stickers?) hey I fullfilled my promise that I'd made last night...that we'd go to the library today...(Britt Britt...is my time keeper...and she was at home with one of her two sick doll babys.) So then we went to get C.J.'s hair cut...the place we usually go to was not open...the door said OPEN AT 10:00 a.m......it was 10:30 a.m. I am in a time warp today? So on to another place to get the hairs cut. He doesn't care where as long as the gets a lolli afterward. Check that off my list. Then to Target...to find Valentine treats...then to the Dollar Store to find Valentine treats.

So Ba-Boo is getting:
-2 tiger plates
-2 pig plates
-2 new sippy cups (Georgia Techish colors...ROCK ON! ! !)
-3 boxes of fake orange tic-tacs (he opened the 4th box on the way home)
-1 heart Pez pack
-1 sheet of Cars The Movie magnets

Total Cost: $8.00

aND WHEN i GOT HOME...I PAID MY SPEEDING TICKET. cHECK OFF LIST. STUPID TICKET.

Eyelashes to Die For

New picnic table with new umbrella...equals new light for closeups...And because he was so interested in the new table for so long...I got to take a zillion pictures (I tried to work around the fact that he was still in his "jamas", has bedhead and had not had his face washed today.) He got the long eyelashes honestly...Jake has long ones...as do I. Though mine are blonde and need lots of mascera to be seen. C.J.'s are brown and will melt hearts one day...it won't even have to be on Valentine's Day.
