Painting Pottery in PC

Brittany and I had never been to paint pottery...we've always wanted to...but never made it happen...so we talked the hubbies into keeping the boys one day while we went and tried it out. If you have never been and are going to try it...please plan 3 hours to paint a small piece...

Pick your piece...

And paints...

and smack your gum vigorusly as you begin painting...after base coat...draw on a design...

Blowdry piece between each coat of paint...and paint some more...

Sing along with every song on the radio...(Britt)

3 hours later...you will be finished and ready to fire...

Pick up the next day!

If you are ever in Panama City Beach Florida...(which they have cleaned up quite a bit since my college days)...drive over and eat at The Old Florida Fish House...yummy...they have a few dishes that have made their way into Southern Living Magazine. But wait there's more...please plan ahead on this evening and stop for a photo session in Alys Beach or the Villages of South Walton Beach...When you start seeing cobble stone streets and white roofs...you are almost there...




There is a white playground on the right side of the road...go after 6:00 p.m. (or before 10:00 a.m.) and take a few amazing pictures...

Wow. Super Fab and Super Fun!

i told Jake on the ride home from the airport last night the Top 3 Things that made this cruise an awesome trip (because cruises are not really my fav):

1-Don and Misty at Vactron...You guys went above and beyond making this an awesome trip for everyone! ! ! Thank you SOOO much! We loved it!

2-Take meds on the ship and you don't feel sick! i love you Meclizine!

3-Wes and Maggie. Good Christian couple friends are hard to find. We love you! See you soon. And Maggie rub your belly for me...I forgot to ask if I could in our hurried baby kissing departure.
