A Quilt for Baby Miley

mmm the chicken in the crock pot smells yummy...now what was i going to blog about...

oh...The Miley's are having a baby boy...in November...and I started his little quilt yesterday.

1st make wonkey squares...

Cut them into perfect 12 inch squares...

Sew them together...and cut them in half both ways...disappearing 9 patch remember...

C wanted his picture taken "unlocking" this door with his keys...

Sew top to middle...and cut out backing...

So there is no major UGA red and black theme...and there is no major Georgia Tech theme...I played fair...just boy colors. Today I will add the edging and quilt it...somehow? How do you quilt for a boy...no curlys and loopies? Just squares?
