And then Saturday night we ventured off again...to Cagle's Dairy Farm. The boys loved the pumpkins! Trying to get them all to look at the camera was once again a feat in itself...Brittany decided to throw a pumpkin up in the air to get their attention...so all 3 boys picked up a pumpkin and threw one....and another and another...until we quickly wrangled them back into the strollers! C.J. loved the hayride, bonfire and the "marshies"...even the ones I burned...actually I think I burned all the ones I toasted? After pushing the strollers through the dark corn maze (yes it was a workout) they played on the cutest little tractors and a trampoline pillow....very cool...though I did not end up with any pictures of it. So check out Cagle's farm this fall it is fun for all ages! http://www.CaglesDairy.com

Multiples Fall Outting
Saturday morning The Reardens invited us to the Multiples Club Fall Outting...they boys had a blast on the slide...not so much fun in the jumping castle that kept "melting" (I overheard a crying little girl tell her mommy) and they kept blowing the outlets as they turned on popcorn machines, cotton candy machines etc. Notice all the cute shirts....Hmmmm I wonder who made those?

Tailgating with Tots
How to Tailgate with 3 Tots under 2:
1- Be quick with the camera...they only sit down together for a second...and don't plan on them all looking at the same time.
2- Let them make up their own games...hide and seek with a blanket?
3- Take lots of toys...bats, golf clubs, footballs
4- Don't expect them to say cheese
5- Let them sleep whenever they want..no matter how loud your surroundings
We all had a great day! We ate lots of fruit, meat sticks, goldfish, Brittany's cookies and "cakepups" (cupcakes).

Yes Turkey Feathers! ! !
As predicted last week with shirts on the way from the vendor...I am up to my eyeballs in Turkey Feathers...I made 6 more shirts today...and now need to sew them on...(4 sold yesterday! ! ! YEAH! ! !) And C.J. found a new "hat".
Fall Decor
Decorating for Fall took place a few weeks ago...here are the BEFORE and AFTER Pictures. If you have not decorated yet...it's not too late. My favorite parts...the black polka dot planters outside! They were brown with glaze...spray paint and craft paint made them pop out a bit more which is hard competing against the stacked stone entryway. And the framed Fall painting...yeah I bought it at the Thrift store back in the spring...if you open the picture you can see the jack-o-lanterns in the bottom left corner...for a mere $6.00 I had to have it! (Do you want the F-A-L-L letters...The Full Alphabet for fun projects is an oldie and a goodie from Allsorts http://allsorts.typepad.com/allsorts/2006/10/halloween_freeb.html )

C.J.'s Golf Clubs
Yesterday Jake and C.J. went in GolfSmith while I went to JoAnn's. He came back with C.J. a set of plastic Snoopy Golf Clubs. C.J. napped with a club and went to sleep last night with a club.

Susan's Quilt
Sooo...I sewed Friday and Sunday...while Jake watched C.J. to make and take Susan her quilt for her Surprise Early Birthday Lunch yesterday. She was quite surprised when C.J. walked into her Brainy Baby office and tapped on her leg! I think she likes her quilt too. I liked the colors for fall...but they are so bold that you wouldn't think fall to see it used another time of year...like on a picnic in May? That was the point! (Click on the pictures to see the cute polka dot fabric and zig zag stitching)

1 cup self rising flour

3 tablespoons of sugar
Spray muffin tin…mix…pour…
Bake 10 minutes at 400 degrees…
Makes 6 sweet light fluffy yummy biscuits.
I told you it was easy.
Sunday Morning
Sunday morning starts off just like any other morning at our house...C.J. "cooking" while I cook for him...as he enjoys his Chic Choc (chocolate milk). He usually makes me coffee and pasta? Yummy?!? And then we run upstairs and rush around like crazy getting ready for church. (Oh this is his cabinet...full of things I do not use very often but constantly pick up off the kitchen floor and toss back into the island. Do you have one of these too?)
Friday Night at GA Tech
Friday Night we ate dinner at Front Page News in Midtown. Man we felt old walking in this young and trendy spot "4 adults and 3 highchairs please"...Must I really explain to a server why 3 22 month olds can't sit side by side at the table? It was fun...then we drove over to GA TECH to pick our new tailgating spot...with the Reardens New RV we've had to move off of Techwood Ave. Ahhh but our new spot is fun too. We have lots of shade and plenty of room to run and play without watching for cars. (No it really wasn't cold enough for me to wear my brown corduroy peacoat...hey the calendar says its fall now. )

Jake Made...
Today I didn't make anything, instead I taught Jake how to make something...Jessica Simpson Chicken & Dumplings. It is soooo easy...she was on Rachael Ray 2 weeks ago and bless her heart...the dish is good. Here is the link to the recipe http://www.rachaelrayshow.com/food/recipes/jessica-simpsons-chicken-dumplings/
I did make a step of faith today and ordered my first batch of blank shirts (34) from a Vendor! So Tuesday I'll be up to my eyeballs in fabric pumpkins and turkey feathers! I am very excited! Oh...C.J. got a hair cut yesterday...we couldn't deal with it in his eyes anymore even though I wanted to try the shaggie look...she left it pretty long...and he didn't even think about crying!

Reversible Turkey Shirt
I made another one...this one is a 2T girls Reversible Turkey Fall Apron...wear it over a white long sleeve shirt and jeans! Cute for fall pictures! ! ! Its for sale on ETSY...
A Reversible Apron
I decided to try something for a little girl today. I have been wanting to make a skirt or ruffle shirt...but I found a pattern for this reversible apron top. I made it out of heavy flannels which makes it hard to tie...but this was my practice top...I'll use cute thin fabric next. Here is the link http://www.themayfly.com/weblog/2007/02/you_asked_for_it.html Oh and then I thought I wonder how this will fit on a dog so I tried it on Avery, our Boston Terrier...it fit perfectly.
Ruffle Purse
Yesterday I made this Ruffle Purse. It's cute...but needs to be made with a heavier fabric. Though Jake was impressed that I made it and that it has 3 red pockets on the inside (pockets are the easiest part). The white and large yellow floral material is vintage Wamsutta from my Great Grandmother...Granny Jones. This simple pattern is from Tiny Happy. Here is the link.
